Concrete works on site — slab pour in progress

Concrete works

Concrete and reinforced-concrete works for foundations, slabs, and monolithic elements — with testing and documented protocols.

Approach

Concrete quality is not visible to the eye. It only shows up after cure and under load. So we make testing documentation part of execution, not an add-on. Pour does not start until formwork, rebar, and mix have been checked off.

We work on small foundations and on monolithic floor slabs and larger structural elements alike. Every site has one accountable concrete lead responsible for mix quality, pour pace, and surface finish.

Workflow

Six stages — from substrate preparation to strength classification.

  1. Substrate and formwork design

Foundation excavation or slab substrate, level and grade check. Formwork drawings per pour height.

  2. Formwork install

System formwork (Peri, Doka) or panel formwork per site conditions. Shoring check with engineering sign-off above 2 m.

  3. Rebar placement

Mesh or bar installation, anchorage, cover check before pour. Photo-documented protocol.

  4. Mix intake and pour

Strength class, slump, and temperature checked at the pump. Test cubes taken on every pour. Vibration, no exceptions.

  5. Cure and aftercare

Moisture retention per temperature. Winter works only with heated formwork or insulation blankets.

  6. Tests and acceptance

Cube test at 7 and 28 days, written report. Formwork strip only after required strength class.

Classes and standards

  • Concrete class

C25/30 default for foundations and slabs; C30/37 or C32/40 for high-load elements. Frost resistance F150 for exposed sites.

  • Reinforcement

B500B rebar to EVS-EN 10080. Cover 30–50 mm per exposure class (XC, XF).

  • Mix suppliers

Rudus, Betoneks, or HeidelbergCement — with batch ticket, not a "local call".

  • Surface flatness

Floor slabs to SR1 (3 mm/2 m) with trowel finish. Power-float to SR2 or better on request.

What you receive at handover

  • Concrete cube test report (7 + 28 days)
  • Rebar acceptance records with photos
  • Formwork shoring calculations (where applicable)
  • Batch tickets for every mix
  • Surface flatness measurement report (SR class)
  • Twelve-month written warranty plus five-year structural warranty
