Novashop crew on site - morning toolbox talk

Crews & labor subcontracting

Qualified crews for general contractors - drywall, paint, masonry, concrete - with a crew lead and written responsibility.

Approach

Labor subcontracting is not "people rental". We put a crew on site with a defined scope, a crew lead, a quality log, and a clear responsibility line. The GC does not have to coordinate each tradesman individually.

We scale both ways - from a two-man trade crew to a twelve-person combined team. Everything is on a written contract, including safety protocols, insurance, and MTR registration.

Workflow

Stages for labor subcontracting to a general contractor.

  1. 01

    Scope and interview

The GC defines scope, trade, programme, and site location. A first call confirms the right crew composition.

  2. 02

    Crew composition

Crew lead + tradesmen + support agreed in writing. CVs, MTR status, and insurance are forwarded before mobilization.

  3. 03

    Contract and safety sign-off

Subcontract with responsibility lines, rates, and programme. Safety induction before mobilization.

  4. 04

    Mobilization

Crew arrives on the contract date. The crew lead signs in with the GC site manager before first hour.

  5. 05

    Work and reporting

Crew lead issues a weekly report to the GC: completed quantities, quality notes, next-week plan.

  6. 06

    Scope acceptance

Signed acceptance at the close of each scope. Warranty and documentation travel with it.

Labor discipline

In labor subcontracting, discipline - not tools - decides the outcome.

MTR registration

Novashop OÜ is listed in the Estonian Register of Economic Activities. The crew lead provides the status with the first document pack.

Liability insurance

Contractor liability insurance in force on every site. Policy is forwarded to the GC before mobilization.

Site safety

Safety routine aligned with ISO 45001 principles - daily toolbox talk, PPE audits, written incident log.

Qualifications

Trade qualifications (drywall, paint, masonry) archived and forwarded on request.

What the GC receives

  • 01A crew lead accountable for every tradesman on the line
  • 02Weekly written report (quantities, quality, risks)
  • 03Liability insurance policy on day one
  • 04Document pack: MTR, insurance, qualifications
  • 05Flexible scaling in both directions (2–12 people)
  • 06One written contract, not a "handshake"
